LOWER COLUMBIA SCHOOL GARDENS
Cultivating the values of lifelong learning, sustainability, health, and community.
In spring 2011 families, volunteers, and students at St. Rose Catholic Elementary School joined the school garden movement.
Leading the way is 3rd grade teacher Donna Sybert, who has dreamed of this for 20 years. We believe that the school garden
teaches skills for our students to succeed as happy and healthy individuals. The St. Rose School Garden Committee blossomed
out of this awesome work and we are excited to see even more progress through the coming years.
The students are excited to dig, plant, water, and harvest!
